HOW OFTEN SHOULD I HAVE MY SUSPENSION CHECKED?

You should get your suspension checked after every 50,000 miles by a mechanic. There are pre-emptive actions you can undertake to make sure your suspension is in working condition. For example, every 1,000 to 3,000 miles, check your tire tread depth and inflation. Also, if you notice a change in car-handling when driving, check the suspension for any damage or signs of wear.

WHAT HAPPENS IF YOUR SUSPENSION GOES?

If your suspension is damaged or broken, driving your car will become increasingly dangerous. This is because your steering will become unstable, and your ride will feel rough and bumpy.
